Welcome To Sesame Street

Elmo is my first Australian Shepherd. He moved in with me in 2018 and it was then that I completely fell in love with the breed. He is a typical Aussie in terms of temperament: he lives to work and is incredibly loyal to his owner. He is quirky, inventive and find all possible loophiles, making every day with him different. Additionally, he has a huge will to please, has reflexes fast as lightning and takes a lot of initiative in his work – which made him quite a challenging dog for a beginner. Elmo is extremely eager to learn and can master the most complex tricks in no time. He is somewhat reserved with strangers and selective about which dogs he likes, but he would go through fire for his family.

It was Elmo that helped me discover the world of Australian Shepherds. He is my first dog and we learned a lot together and grown tremendously: we have explored many different dog sports and found what works for us.

Early 2024, Elmo was diagnosed with lumbosacral stenosis resulting from his abnormal sacral conformation. To keep him as healthy as possible, we limit high-impact activities and he regularly visits a physiotherapist and osteopath. But fortunately, there are stull plenty of fun things for us to do together!
